Rhodochrosite & Sterling Pendant, 1" with a 3/4" Stone. Simple sterling setting with a halo and large, patterned bail. The stone has many inclusions giving it a mottled appearance that various from almost white to deep pink.

Rhodocrosite is a medium to dark pink stone. The pink is caused by the element manganese. It is formed in caves and crevices deep underground and is found in Argentina, Peru, and Montana in the US. It can be carved into figurines or jewelry. It is a relatively soft stone that is said to draw love and improve eyesight.
