Chrysocolla is an attractive gemstone we are proud to offer after a long search for a source. It is an uncommon gemstone and can be confused with turquoise. Chrysocolla has a deeper, more intense blue-green color, often showing touches of purple in its reflection. It must be treated with respect and handled as one would fine pearls. It is first found in use by Theophrastus in 315 BC.
