This is a Chinese pottery shard from the Ming Ching Dynasty and is estimated to be 100 to 300 years old. Chinese artisans make the broken pottery into beautiful and unique pendants. Most have some curvature, depending on the original shape of the pottery. No two designs are the same. Each pendant is encased in a silver tone metal edging rolled over in the back and front to protect the pendant and highlight the design.
The pendants are round to oval and are approximately 3-1/2 inches to 4 inches in diameter by 1/4 inch thick.
